Known as one of the "Twin Towns" – Tweed Heads/Coolangatta – and sitting on the NSW side of the border, Tweed Heads is just a few minutes’ drive from Gold Coast International Airport.

You will have a choice of beaches, from Kirra to Duranbah, including the Gold Coast’s only north-facing beaches – Coolangatta and Greenmount. This is also the home of world-renowned surf breaks like the Snapper Superbank and Duranbah where many of the heats for the Quiksilver Pro Surfing Championships held.

The Tweed’s best entertainment and nightlife – at Twin Towns Services Club, Tweed Heads Bowls Club, Seagulls Club and all the other social and sporting clubs that offer live music every night of the week, gaming and a regular program of stars on stage.

Water activities accessed from Tweed include cruising the Tweed River, charter boats leave for offshore deep-sea fishing and whale watching or throw a line in from the river banks.

Tweed Heads is home to two large shopping centres which will cater to all your needs.  It is also the gateway to the Tweed Coast and Tweed Valley which house numerous quaint villages and townships.
